flight school has screeched to a halt.. not just because of the thanksgiving holidays.. we were supposed to be done with VT-4 by the time the xmas hols comes around but guess we might be 2 weeks behind schedule.. nonetheless, i'll be back in singapore from the 23rd of dec to 4th of jan.. its been shopping shopping shopping for the last few days.. so far, i've spent like.. USD$300 on gifts? and i'm still not done with gift buying yet.. my goodness.. i got myself a pair of nike shox lethals from the nike factory outlet over at Destin.. got it for only USD$30! what a bargain.. i spent thanksgiving at garth's place over at govt blvd with the other singaporeans.. this is offically my 1st thanksgiving dinner.. american style.. there was even an 'all american' turkey fryer out at the yard.. fried turkey.. yum.. we headed out to seville quarter again after dinner.. eric, kara, joe, rob?, garth, his brother, the twin chicks and the sings.. we all left early for some reason.. guess the crowd wasn't as happening as they hope it to be.. looks like its back to the books for me.. for now.. 28 more days.. 4 more weeks.. hey ho..

so i was at seville quarter (SQ) on friday night.. and am still pretty sure clubbing and drinking ain't my cup of tea.. what i did enjoy was the piano room.. 2 guys playing the piano on stage.. nope, not playing classics or contemporary piano pieces.. but satire, parodies and impromptus.. they'll invited guests on stage and make fun of them, with the audiences' participation of course.. extremely funny.. SQ's one of pensacola's most happening club.. but compared to singapore, this was nothing.. haha.. but one thing remains the same.. the smoke, the booze and the noise.. something that i really dislike.. 1) my clothes stink of cigerette smoke. 2) too much drinking makes peope behave like idiots. 3) painfully unpleasent.. to me, booze really is an aquired taste.. i've tried drinking many times and each time reaffirms my dislike for it.. i always wanted to learn to appreciate this highly appraised beverage but why its highly appraised? i think i may never know.. i'm hoping to finish up my formation flights soon.. this week i hope.. really hope.. bleah.. can't wait to start T-39 ground school.. less than 50 days before i head home.. yay.. oh ya.. i bought another car.. a red ford mustang.. dream come true.. haha.. even though its not the newest of mustangs, its still a mustang right? haha..
