just got back from a weekend at orlando.. that's an 8 hour drive east.. the 5 of us drove a car down (raja's).. thank goodness the car's aircon was working just fine.. so there we went, raja, sean, patrick, carrie and i.. photo's coming up..

this is the killer whale (shamu) show.. just before the show starts, a military appreciation video was screened.. at the end of it, the lead trainer asked all US, UK and other allied nations' troops to stand up.. we were presented with a standing ovation.. in a stadium of over 2000 people.. for the 1st time in my life, i really felt proud being in uniform.. but then again, this is the US of A, not singapore.. sad but.. oh well..

update time.. i try to update weekly, if not, more often.. but yup.. at least weekly.. just a few photos.. been studying like mad lately so i haven't been doing much.. cleared engines and navigation test.. 1 more to go for API.. flight rules and regulations is a short topic so it ain't so bad..

i just published my last post all happy but then i turned to the tv and got fucking pissed.. 'The Monster Shark Tournament'.. those sons of bitches.. what cheesed me off wasn't just the idea of the anglers fishing sharks and killing them for sport, but what one angler.. or rather.. what a couple of anglers said to the camera.. for all in america (and beyond) to hear.. 'when you look into their eyes, you know they want to eat ya..' another said.. 'i will fish for a shark for the 3 grand (prize money) but i'd catch one and kill on for just $10.' bloody sons of bitches.. you got a shark who was just going about its business at the verge of certained death.. if i were the shark, i'd want to bite off your fucking head too.. bastards who have nothing better to do but to test their 'balls' (if they even have any) against these endangered animals.. the bloody narrator kept going 'the monsters in the deep'.. the only fucking monsters around are the anglers, the sponsors/organisers and supporters of this event.. screw you..

its been a good week so far.. cleared the aero 2 test.. next test this friday.. engines.. but should be ok.. not as bad as aeros.. just started air navigation.. so far so good.. 1 mile flight suit swim tml.. the final swim test.. then its off to the helo dunker on week 5.. haha.. hope it'll be a good week ahead.. with many more to come.. fingers crossed..

not much time to update so i'm gonna keep this short.. just got back from PT.. it was team sports today.. had american football and it hurt.. it was flag but ended up as ull contact somehow.. haha.. but it was fun nonetheless.. think i pulled something.. ok.. i've been in the states for about a month.. not too bad.. i can live with this.. haha.. just a little stressful when there're tests coming.. been studying a ton here.. tests every week.. guys here are great.. just a lil sad that most of the friends that i made in api are leaving sherman field for whiting or somewhere else.. oh well.. haha.. i'll just enjoy whatever i have now.. ok.. gotta go bath.. and to head for engines class at griffith hall.. 3-4 miles drive away.. update again soon.

class is starting tml and morales falling.. but i think i should be able to clear just fine.. placed my deposit on the car on saturday.. decided to buy the 95 chevrolet monte carlo z34.. test drove it and fell in love.. black leather interior, seats slightly inclined and transmission is angled back too.. so it feels like i'm driving lying down.. haha.. white 2 door vehicle, 6 cylinder 3.4L engine.. just hope it's not a gas guzzling monster! well.. not all that home sick coz i get to speak to my family via web cam almost daily but i am missing someone sorely already.. gosh.. only a photo to keep my chin up.. its only been 2 and a half weeks..
